Seminar: “Overview of Current Trends in Artificial Intelligence Technology in Obstetric, Gynecological, and General Ultrasound”

On August 18, 2026, TD TECH, in collaboration with Kien Giang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Overview of Current Artificial Intelligence Technology Trends in Obstetric, Gynecological, and General Ultrasound”.

During the program, participants were updated on AI-powered and automated solutions in ultrasound, ranging from automated measurements and image reconstruction to fetal cardiac assessment and applications supporting the screening and evaluation of abnormalities in obstetrics and gynecology.

The professional content focused on congenital anomaly screening, assessment of fetal cardiac abnormalities, early detection of preeclampsia risk, and support for evaluating several gynecological conditions, including uterine anomalies, uterine fibroids, and ovarian abnormalities.

Several techniques introduced during the program included fetal neurosonography using TUI (Tomographic Ultrasound Imaging), assessment of uterine fibroids according to international standards, and simulation of the fetal circulatory system.

According to the presentations delivered at the seminar, AI is regarded as a supportive tool for physicians during ultrasound examinations and image analysis, helping automate certain procedures, reduce measurement time, and provide additional data for clinical assessment.

This is not merely about adopting a new technology, but also represents another step forward in bringing AI into clinical practice—supporting physicians, optimizing workflows, and improving the effectiveness of diagnostic imaging.
